In serious need of advice!! :)

Ok so here is my plight!! I have so much going on now days that I find it extremely hard to get everything done in the 24 hours that God has provided me with. My brain and my mouth seem to be at war with each other....this past weekend I was trying to get the kids showered and dressed and had Mary Catherine in the shower...I proceeded to give her the "run down" and ended my rant with "DO NOT STEP OFF THIS MAT (MY CHILDREN SEEM TO NOT UNDERSTAND THE PURPOSE OF A BATH MAT) UNTIL THERE IS NOT A SINGLE DROP OF BODY ON YOUR WATER!" yep thats right, you read it right!! I have continued to jumble up my thoughts and words and now it appears that even when my poor tired brain realizes that I have done this and I go back and try to correct it I still mess the words up!! (WEDNESDAY NIGHT IS THE BEST EXAMPLE KIM) Any ideas on how to fix this little"issue" my brain appears to be having?!?! I will take any suggestions :)

Ooooooooouch!!! Night class

The pottery in this picture is Etchizen pottery, fired in a wood kiln, at insane temperatures, in Etchizen, Japan. The presentation in class last night was 2 hours of talking about how they do this and why.....fairly interesting but I must be honest...(insert slight head bob here lol)

I thought about doing this last night when I got home but apparently my brain/body had different thoughts. I awoke this morning at 3:04 am to find myself sitting up on my bed, laptop in my lap, history book by my side where it had fallen, and the TV (God bless dish network) was "asleep". After I sluggishly moved everything to one side of the bed I quickly went back to sleep and really am beginning to think I should have either stayed asleep or gotten up at that point because now all I want is a nap HAHA.

After 12 years I can finally (again) tell the world why I never liked my Western Civ class at Anderson College. No one in their right mind, in my opinion, can say that they LIKE night classes. Up until this week Mondays were the only day I had to come home and get a few things done and spend time at home. For the next 7 weeks I no longer have that luxury. I do however, have Art Appreciation otherwise known as ART 100. I dreaded this class so bad last night that by the time Sadie got to my house I was ready to just forget that I had signed up for it :). So, off I went at 5:30pm, to the art annex. I was pleased to find out that I knew 4 people in the class which made things much easier. We took our quiz, went over the answers, and I'm pretty sure I only missed one!! Needless to say I was pretty proud of myself. We then watched a presentation (insert snore and bobbing head here) then moved to the Art gallery to view some work for a show that will open on Thursday. OH JOY!! Thursday at 5:30 we get extra credit for being at the opening, hmmmmmm baseball game and art opening all within 3o minutes!! SURE not a problem LOL.

So all that complaining is to say that I decided last night that the night class might not be such a bad thing after all! Sure I have another paper added to the ones I have to write every week BUT its one less core class that I have to worry about!! This puts me down to 1 1/2 years left to go!! Maybe one day I will see the light at the end of the tunnel that all my graduating friends keep talking about!!!

I am soooooooooo excited that I get to post this picture!!! From the moment Charlie decided he was ready to play baseball he has wanted to be the catcher because he has heard his father and his "Bob" say that they were both catchers. Well, this past Tuesday his dream came true!! Now I just hope that he can continue to play this position!!! Doesn't he look adorable :)

How did I miss this weather????

Ok, so I realize that I come in to work at the crack of dawn but how in the world did I miss the fact that we were washing away??? I am now stuck inside this lovely building until 1:30. Maybe by then the rain will have slowed down. Somehow I got to work today with only my jean jacket. No umbrella....NOTHING!
